If you would like to get in touch with me to say hello from an old friend, or perhaps new friend, or give any suggestions about this website whether that be praise or a strongly-worded comment, you can get in touch with me through the different ways offered below.

The BEST way to get in touch is by e-mail at thawin_rom@yahoo.com. I'll usually write back within a day or two, but if it's been way too long, try a re-send. Yahoo's spam filter tends to grab the legitimate emails at times.

You can also send me an Instantgram message (@thawinr) but I can't guarantee that I'll read it within the week. I really don't use social media, hence making a website.

Favourite Music hard to choose, probably Elvis... or Dean Martin... or Engelbert. something like that

Favourite Film The Sound of Music, Blue Hawaii, Cannonball Run

Favourite Shows: Air Crash Investigation, most of the PBS Nature docs, Animal Planet, Nat Geo, but usually I'll watch whatever's on TV (mostly the documentary channels)

Hobbies or Interests Computers and coding, electrical work is also fascinating. I also like collecting old things. Oh I also like to read books, write stories.

Books I recommend: Kite Runner, On earth we briefly gorgeous, The Pelican brief, Human Stain, also classics like Frankenstein, Great Gatsby, Sherlock Holmes, etc. are all good.

Book I'm currently reading: I just finished reading JG Ballard's Cocaine Nights (Thanks Mr Rhys!!) and now I'm starting Tinker Tailor Sailor Spy (Thanks Daniel for the recommendation!!)

Film I recommend The Sound of Music, I could watch this for days!! more modern... The Men In Black series of films are good, A Million Ways to die in the wst is also really good, also old 007's films.. Roger Moore version!

Film I just watched Where Eagles Dare (1968) so so brilliant film! Me and Titan watched it together. Deserves another round when I have the time!


Letter: Get To Know Me

Greetings!

My name is Thawin, and guess what - no surprise here - this is my website! In lieu of posting uploads onto social media, I would rather use this more old-school ("primitive") approach of putting out what I would like to share.

So a little bit about me - my hobbies and things I enjoy doing are making things whether that be a physical something (electronic projects or building things) or something on the computer (like this website!) and speaking of computers, well, computers! I'm a very hardware-based computer geek, and I guess that holds true with most of the stuff I like (or make). I prefer to do things at the hardware level rather than the software level.

In addition to that, I also enjoy gardening and growing plants, things like that. I'm not so sure how to put gardening stuff on a website but I'll try. This isn't a gardening website anyway, and half of the stuff I do is probably a gardener's cardinal sin.

I also have few, but good friends, and if i do things with friends that are of enough interest to put on here, I'll put it up on here.

And I love travelling, so when I get the chance to travel I'll put it up here as well. There's probably more about me to cover but I can't think of anything to write anymore. If you want to get to know me, the best way is to have a chat!
