Afterwards, because she (Pauline) is so nice, offered to chauffer all of us to where we were going. So we first dropped off Turter and the girls at Paragon and they went and did their shopping or whatever. And me and Martin and Pauline drove on to Sirikit Hall to see the book fair, with Austin, and Jean Lie decided to show up as well, for some reason.

Just piled together in the car. |
The book fair had lots of interesting and cool books. I bought quite a lot of books at the fair. Many of them are Thai books, though. There is a very small international section. Martin bought some kind of merchandise (a locket or a bracelet or something, one for him and one for "a lady friend I will eventually find" - ok bro). Austin bought some arts books that cost a helluva lot of money.
Then we decided to take a stroll in the Benjakitti Park which encompasses the Hall. I think it was Martin's idea. Great idea to walk a park in April. But anyway, it was fun.
It seems that this group of friends really likes making GREAT decisions.
Instead of paying 11 Baht per to take the train one stop away to Terminal Mall where we was to get dinner, we decided to leg it, because "It can't be that far, right?"
It was FRICKIN' FAR.
But that's okay, I guess. Great views, good companions, awesome conversation. I wouldn't trade it for anything else (maybe for airconditioned train-car but oh well).
We finished the day with Japanese Curry.
